Chapters 19-23 Summary

In Chapter 19, on graduation day, Sophie notices all the kids in her class who have proud parents sitting in the audience. No one has come to see Sophie graduate except for Carter, who is also graduating without family in the audience. After the ceremony, they go off together instead of celebrating with their friends.
