Part 1, Chapter 8 Summary

Four black children are killed in a bombing on a Sunday, the day that The Seven Days assigned to Guitar, and he needs to find a way to kill four white children in an explosion. However, he knows that he needs explosives to do that sort of work and explosives cost money. Unfortunately, Guitar does not have enough cash to afford dynamite or hand grenades and he needs a way to get money fast. Thus, when Milkman comes to Guitar with the plan to steal the gold from Pilate's house, Guitar is elated; now he has the means to perform his work.

Unfortunately, snatching the gold from Pilate's house is not so easy. After all, at least one of the three women is always there and Milkman is not sure how they.....
