Chapters 25-26 Summary

Cara and Ivy are brought back to their bodies by Jacques singing "The Song of the Wanderer." As the three of them catch up, Jacques reveals that the Hunters stole the amulet he used to come to earth. He was given the amulet by Thomas the Tinker. The Hunters stole knocked him unconscious and stole it from him after the initial fight. Jacques is ashamed that he let the amulet get away. Cara now knows why Beloved left so quickly. Armed with an amulet, Beloved now has access to Luster. Ivy says they most return to The Queen's Court at once and rely this important news. Before they head back to the Queen's Court Cara travels back to Ebillan's cave in Luster and brings her friends who were still waiting there back to her grandmother's house on earth.
