Pages 30-55 Summary

Crab fixes Mama Jean's sink and they talk about the past. Later Mama Jean makes dinner before packing Jimmy's things. Mama Jean assures Jimmy he does not have to go and he can come back whenever he wants to, but Jimmy does not fight the situation. Jimmy goes willingly with Crab. On the way out the door, Mama Jean gives Jimmy fifty dollars in case he needs to get home on his own.

Jimmy falls asleep in the car as they drive. When he wakes, Jimmy sees that they are pulled over on the side of the road not far from a filling station. Crab is nowhere to be seen. Jimmy waits for a while and Crab finally comes from the direction of the filling station. They continue down the road for a time and finally stop for gas. Crab parks...
