Summary and Analysis for Chapters 29-36 Summary

In Chapter 29, the last week before school begins is a blur. On Monday Lani and Mom run into Jason's mother at the grocery store. On Tuesday she and Jason have arts-and-crafts time making posters for One World. As they work, Lani tells Jason that she and Erin had been to the psychic, and the psychic knew about him. On Wednesday Jason has to work so Lani gets together with Blake. They have a great time playing together with the Slip 'n Slide. On Thursday Blake and Lani go to the pet store. On Friday Jason surprises her with a ride in a hot air balloon. On Saturday, Lani agrees to go in the pond with Jason. She glides in the water, holding on to him, until she isn't scared anymore.
