Summary

The next section is also set in Paris. While Kevin and Victoire were riding a bus to the art museum, they were spotted by one of Kevin's colleagues, a Brown sociology professor named Melissa Lowry. Kevin and Victoire exited the bus and examined Picasso paintings: Kevin was drawn to a simple bench in the exhibit.

In the next House section, Linda noticed that April was acting sad and withdrawn. April told her father that she was sure she was pregnant, although she did not answer when he asked whether or not she had taken a test. She reasserted that she was getting an abortion. Kevin told her that he had to tell Linda.
