Chapter 66 Summary

Hiro connects to Raven's voice phone, a feature of vehicles in the Metaverse. Hiro tells Raven about Hiro's father, who served in World War II. Hiro's father had been captured by the Nipponese and put into a prisoner camp with prisoners of varying nationalities. There were two men in the camp that Hiro's father couldn't place, but who turned out to be Aleuts. One of the Aleuts died pretty quickly but the other Aleut was very tough. Raven tells Hiro that the Aleut was Raven's father. The Aleut brewed up a poison and slipped it into the officers' food one day. The Nipponese brought all of the prisoners back from the fields, and while crossing a bridge, the Aleut dove into the water. Raven tells Hiro that the Aleut man had been making.....
