Hiro is on his motorcycle, heading to Rife's giant black box on the other side of the Metaverse. There is a huge plaza and ampitheater on one side of the Street. There are about half a million hackers there now, watching a benefit concert for Da5id. Juanita is goggled in with him, so she can see what Hiro sees. Hiro arrives where Y.T. had seen Rife's black box. Several security daemons block Hiro's path as he tries to approach the wall of the box. Hiro turns on the invisible avatar he had created, and pushes his way through the daemons. Hiro uses his sword to penetrate the wall of the box. This is an old hack Hiro discovered, taking advantage of the delay time in the signal between the Raft and the satellite.....
