Chapter 29 Summary

Y.T. is waiting for her ride. While she waits, she jacks into the public terminal and enters the Metaverse. She has the address of a guy named Ng that she needs to meet. The man with the glass eye told Y.T. that Ng was actually somewhere in Southern California driving around in a van that had all kinds of equipment in it. In the Metaverse, Ng lives in a villa that appears to be in Vietnam. His office looks out through French doors to fields of rice paddies. Y.T. enters the office and Ng stands up and bows to Y.T. Y.T. hears some strange sounds coming from Ng's mouth, but they sound like background noise. Ng tells Y.T. that he does security work, mostly for Mr. Lee, who prefers to use non-human system......
