Chapter 23 Summary

Y.T. heads out to Griffith Park to pick up the package for her delivery. Y.T. has heard about a new gang down in the canyon the other Kouriers call the Falabalas, so named because they talk to each other in their own language, which sounds like gibberish. Y.T. approaches the border gate of the gang territory, and they let her in. Suddenly she's in a large flat area full of people who are dressed in rags and lack any form of personal hygiene. Some of the people are mumbling, others are clapping and singing songs. A man in an old lab coat approaches her, asking if Y.T. was here for the briefcase. Y.T. tells him she's here to pick up something for delivery. The man, who Y.T. thinks of as the "High Priest",.....
