Summary

Jack visited Catherine in an attempt to get the knife from her. She told him that her husband had it, that he had found where she had hidden it. He pointed out that if Adam found the knife, it meant that he had been looking for it. If he had been looking for it, it meant that it was not lost. Jack told Catherine that Adam had lied to her. She remembered how Adam had not answered her question when she asked what he was looking for in her underwear drawer. Jack asked her to let him come in the house, and she agreed.
