Summary

Shawn, Louis’ brother, met Rice when he delivered a package to the capture house. He was friendly, and people trusted him. When the homeowners told him they would be out of town on vacation, Shawn passed that information on to Louis, who paid him well.

Jack found his mother again in his dreams. She was talking on the emergency phone in the middle of a field. As she walked toward Jack and Joy, the field began to tilt until she was falling down a straight wall.

Jack woke, realizing he had heard a noise. He slipped quickly out of the window as the owners of the house returned home.
