Chapter 1, Down to Earth; Chapter 2, Summary

Alex Rider falls within a space capsule to the ocean near Australia in Chapter 1. He is only fourteen years old, but he has been in space. This surprises the American diver who opens the capsule and a medical officer who looks him over on the USS Kitty Hawk. After showering, Alex lays down on a bed made from memory foam and starts to drift asleep. He thinks he hears familiar voices, but he is not sure if the people talking are friends or foes.
