Summary

In "Small Fry," Lisa and her mother moved to a new house. Lisa reflected on her parents’ early relationship. Steve would visit Lisa and call her Small Fry as a nickname. They visited Stanford University when Lisa was nine years old. Steve held young Lisa up so she could see and almost dropped her. Lisa asked to look at Steve’s teeth because they were perfectly aligned, whereas her and her mother’s teeth were uneven. Lisa’s mother began dating a new man named Ilan.
