Mount Desert Island

Mount Desert Island is a part of Acadia National Park in Maine. Located near Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island features beaches, lakes, beautiful scenery, and campgrounds. It is at one such campground that Jack and his mother take a site and prepare to spend three days.
