Kaz Brekker

Kaz Brekker is one of the main narrators of the novel and the leader of the Dregs. He is cunning and manipulative, preferring to be the most knowledgeable person in the room. This is also a negative part of his character, as he tends to keep information away from those closest to him until the last minute. Kaz is also crippled after breaking his leg stealing from the bank of the man who scammed him and his brother, Jordie. However, he carries his disability with pride, using a Fabrikator-made cane and relying on it to intimidate his enemies. Kaz is a skilled thief, capable of picking any lock he finds as well as stealing from people, such as Pekka Rollins, without them realizing he was even there.
