Summary

In Chapter 53, Mikami had been sitting at the kitchen table all night. He drove to work, thinking Arakida was responsible for all the leaked news to the press. At work, Akama called Mikami who he asked about the boycott. Mikami said that he had not had a chance to discuss the issue with the press, that they were very upset about the leaked news. Suwa then came inside the office and asked Mikami how he was doing. Kuramae also entered and gave Mikami some more information on Meikawa, the now deceased pedestrian. Mikami asked his staff to call Mikumo into the office.
