Chapters 7 through 9 Summary

After Scott and Michelle leave, Sudi climbs out of the dumpster and is approached by a cat, which leaves, then returns followed by Meri. Meri says the cat told her Sudi needed help and says that other strange things have happened to her since the meeting with Abdel. She gets some clothes for Sudi and they agree that they should talk with Dalila.

In Chapter 8, Sudi and Meri meet with Dalila, who says that her uncle, a famous Egyptologist, assured her everything Abdel told them was true. Dalila has grown up believing she was being groomed for something special, but she thought she was destined to marry a prince, not become a warrior against evil. Her uncle has taught her about the ancient Egyptian ways, but only now does she realize he was actually training her. Sudi tells the other girls...
