Summary

Chapter 33 – At school the following Monday, Bram is virtually the first person Simon sees. He describes having a sleepless night; how physically and emotionally aware he is of Bram throughout the morning; and how Abby seems teasingly aware that something is going on. At lunch, Bram convinces Simon to go with him off the school grounds, and they go to a grocery store, where Bram buys them a lunch of Oreo cookies and milk. They eat it in Bram’s car, scarf their lunch, and then share their first kiss. “And it’s almost too perfect,” he comments in narration. “Almost too Disney” (276).
