Chapter 33

Kyle suddenly steps away from Sia. He apologizes for kissing her, though Sia says she’s glad he kissed her. Kyle says that he doesn’t want to kiss her when she doesn’t have her memories. He says she might change when that happens. Sia understands that, but her heart is breaking as he walks away. Sia wants nothing more than to follow Kyle, but Alyz arrives and announces that she has someone else she wants Sia to meet. She introduces Sia to Travis Dooley, the screenwriter who met with Raymond earlier in the evening. Sia forces herself to be polite to him, knowing he might hold the key to the future success of her father’s company. Travis says Raymond revealed Sia’s recent memory loss.
