Hitchens, Christopher, and Norman Podhoretz. "An Exchange on Orwell." Harper's Vol. 266, No 1593, February 1983, pp. 56-8.

Hitchens responds to an earlier essay by Podhoretz (see below) speculating that had he lived, Orwell would have become a political neoconservative. Hitchens questions several of Podhoretz's contentions regarding Orwell's political attitudes.
