Chapters 5 and 6 Summary

Jamie says TJ took up photography as a hobby when they were stationed in Germany. TJ was in junior high school at the time. their mother always says that TJ has a good eye. Photography is the one hobby that the Colonel and TJ don't have in common. Jamie says that TJs pictures changed when he got to Vietnam. TJ started photographing people and the moon. Before TJ leaves for Vietnam, he mentions that TJ probably won't have any time to use his cameras because he'll be too busy trying not to get shot. Jamie says the Colonel is wrong about that.
