Back at the Phoenix, Radford begins the process of casting off, telling the new crew what they need to do, and calling out to the Captain when they are clear of the dock. The Phoenix heads out of the harbor and as it does, J.J. does his best to talk the Captain into putting him on a plane home, telling him this was all a mistake, his father was an important man and how J.J. was certain it would be worth his while if they would just put him on a plane for the U.S. The Captain assures him they are in the U.S. and his father paid good money to have him take this trip.
