Chapters Two and Three: Monday, July 10, 2010, 0820 to 1805 hours Summary

Captain James Cascadden addresses the three youths already on board the Phoenix, and tells them that their history is not his concern. In fact, he tells them that the slate is clean, and now they are nothing more than his crew. Together, they will serve the vessel and sail off into adventure. Luke mutters under his breath and Radford tells him to be quiet while the Captain is talking. Luke and Will's first adventure is to swab the deck. Will and his sister face off, Lyssa swinging a mop at her brother's head and barely missing before Radford intervenes. Since floor space was at a premium aboard the Phoenix, the job of mopping is mercifully short. This is followed by lunch and dishes. Then Captain Cascadden takes them all...
