Keene

Donald Keene is a Democratic U.S. Congressman from Georgia. He is the husband of Helena, former college boyfriend of Anna, and good friends with Mick Webb. An architect by training, Keene first went into politics determined to help people and change things for the better. He becomes a trusted confidante of Senator Thurman, who brings Keene on to work on the CAD-FAC project at Anna’s request due to Keene’s architectural talents. Keene only belatedly realizes the truth about the project and the salvaging of humanity.

Keene is awakened decades later to assist in Shifts, where he is first given the name Troy. Keene is disgusted with the truth of the entire operation, believing the killing of billions for thousands was not worth it.
