Summary

In Chapter 16, Juliette makes the decision to go along with what Warner wants for the time being to keep Adam from being further hurt. She goes into the closet to find the purple dress that Adam had previously mentioned. Instead, she finds the notebook that she had in her cell for a long time. Juliette remembers that Adam once told her that the bathroom has no cameras, so she goes in there to dress and to check the contents of her notebook. In it, she finds that Adam has written a cryptic note about things not being what they seem.

Warner arrives to take Juliette out of the room. He admires how Juliette currently looks but is uninterested in answering Juliette's questions on why he would hurt Adam. In an effort to make a joke, Juliette begins to mention Warner's mother. Warner is...
