Chapter 23 Summary

Gwen goes to her gate to check Ian's claim of a dead George outside her gate. She doesn't see anything. There are a few broken branches, but no body. She calls Ian from her cell phone and he tells her that he moved George to a less conspicuous place. She tells him she wanted to check out the situation before calling the police, so she hasn't called them. He is happy about that decision. She hangs up the phone and goes back upstairs to retrieve the gun he had given her. She has a legal gun of her own, but for some reason she feels she should carry the silver one instead. She slips it into her jacket pocket and takes Sylvia's car. She wants to observe someone and doesn't want her own.....
