Chapter 19 Summary

Gwen's cell phone rings and it's the hospital. Sylvia, her landlady, has had a heart attack and had asked the nurse to call Gwen. Gwen tells the nurse she'll be there in twenty minutes. She arrives to see Sylvia in a hospital bed, looking very old. Sylvia tells her that Ian Forest has been to see her. He was looking for Gwen and it brought back memories of when Sylvia knew him. He hadn't changed a bit. Gwen insists that the man Sylvia knew in her younger years must have been Ian Forest Senior, but Sylvia tells her otherwise. Gwen cannot imagine that Ian hasn't aged in all those years, but she nods her head to Sylvia in agreement.

Gwen tells Sylvia that she will take care of things and that Sylvia should get.....
