Chapter 17 Summary

Gwen tells Quaid about her suspicions with the drowning of Frank and how he never drank Scotch but rather Jamison. He listens to her, but wonders how this adds up to homicide and not suicide. She tells him that maybe she's a little too shaken up and things aren't making sense at the moment. She asks him to talk to the lady coroner in his office. She wants to speak to her about Frank. He says he will ask her, but can't promise anything. He starts to irritate her by questioning her tactics in the case. Without explanation, she tells him to look into a certain case number and hangs up the phone.

She starts looking for Frank's thumb drive. It has disappeared along with his backup CDs. She finds that his address book.....
