Chapter 12 Summary

Gwen is invited to Frank Cross's house for chowder and coffee. She loves his chowder and when she arrives, she helps him with the ingredients as he labors over the pot on the stove. She makes a fresh pot of coffee and they finally sit down at the table to eat. She tells Frank of another case she's been asked to take on. She tells him that she put Ian Forest's file on his desk when she arrived. He says he'll make time to take a look at it.
