Chapter 5 Summary

Gwen drives to the home she believes to be a prostitution haven. She creeps behind bushes so she is not seen. She witnesses a car pull into the driveway and a man gets out. He is not in the house long before he gets back into his car and drives away. Gwen goes in for a closer look. She picks the lock and enters the house, looking from room to room. It is obvious that the inhabitants left hastily. The dresser drawers in numerous bedrooms were still left open. The clothes must have been taken quickly.
