Chapter 2 Summary

Gellman starts her car and speeds off in the direction of a hotel she suspects Lauren was taken to. She pulls in, hands her keys to the valet, and grabs a paper bag out of her trunk. Her intent is to pretend to be a delivery girl to get past the front desk. She accomplishes this and takes the elevator to the upstairs rooms. She is looking for room number six. As the story in this chapter unfolds, there have been several missing girls in the area and in the end, they are found dead in hotel rooms. The first victim is found in room number one, the second in room two, etc. Her hunch is Lauren will be found in room number six.
