Chapter 16, 17 Summary
In chapter 16, Daniel tells Del to tell no one what is going on with the sting on the Crows as he does not want the FBI taking the credit. Meanwhile, the Crows are talking about Liss as a boy and saying he will not talk, but he has given their address and names to his wife for Lucas. When Hart calls to warn them the police are on the way, they leave the apartment in a hurry, which leaves evidence of their presence.
In chapter 17, Lucas and Lily are still in Brookings waiting to hear from Daniel about the results of the raid on the Crows's apartment. They have coffee, talk, and then go to their motel.
