Chapters 16-20 Summary

In Chapter Sixteen, Aura is doing well surviving on little sleep, or so she thinks. In school, right before Christmas, Zachary tells her he wants her to join him the next day for a tour of the Inner Harbor. It's her birthday, too, but she doesn't tell him that. She tells him she doesn't want to be pushed, and he tells her that she needs to be pushed. She's turning into a ghost. Aura agrees to go with him.

The next day they go out together, and Zachary looks as if he is always watching out for something. Aura wonders if he is looking out for Becca Goldman. At one point Aura thought he was going to kiss her, but she backed away, knowing that Logan had been to the Inner Harbor before so he might be watching.
