Goredd is the main setting of Seraphina. It is the kingdom ruled by Queen Lavonda who arranged a somewhat precarious peace treaty with the Ardmagar Comonot, ruler of Tanamoot.

Castle Orison

Castle Orison is the home of Goredd's royal family, and as the assistant to the court composer, Seraphina also resides in the palace.

Comonot's Treaty

Comonot's Treaty is the peace treaty between the dragons of Tanamoot and the humans of Goredd, and it is celebrated annually.

Garden of Grotesques

Seraphina creates a mental garden for the seventeen grotesques she has visions about, and she tends the garden daily to prevent these visions from overwhelming her. When several of her grotesques appear in her real life, she learns that they are half dragons like she is.
