Chapters 26-30 Summary

Rapp carries Donatella to his hotel room. He wants to use his phone, which is supposed to be secure, but Mitch comes from the point of view where nothing is secure. Nevertheless, he knows he has to use it to sort out the mess at Donatella's apartment and to get a government doctor for Donatella. He spies two men walking towards them quickly, and Mitch jumps into a doorway. As the men pass, he sees they are just civilians. From the doorway, Mitch phones Irene and tells her to send someone to Donatella's apartment, clean up the mess, and send a doctor to his hotel room.

Mitch takes Donatella up to his room. Anna is angry with him. She asks where the hell he has been because she has been worried sick. Mitch says he will tell her later, but now...
