In Drizzt's opening letter for Part Four, he discusses the way in which the dwarfs of Mithral Hall treated him during the time they are preparing to fight against the drow. Drizzt is drow. Despite this difference in culture and background, the dwarfs treated him no differently than they did any of their own people.
