Chapter 12 Summary

Winnie runs from the house, unsure of what to do now. Winnie cannot go to her mother. Winnie's relationship with her mother was primarily about Stevie, and now that Stevie was gone, that bond was broken. Winnie is deathly afraid of hanging in the gallows.
