19-22 Summary

Junior Officer Tippellum steps into Jole Turbor's office on the third fleet to inform him they have just taken in a prisoner called Preem Palver. Turbor has recently spoken to Dr. Darell and knows exactly who the prisoner so requests to see Palver alone. Turbor asks Palver what is the name of the girl he has abducted, and Palver replies that her name is Arcadia Darell. Is she okay asks Turbor. Plaver says she is safe and in good health. After their interview, Turbor assures the Admiral that Palver is not a spy. However, Palver still cannot leave the ship because they are in the middle of a war; when it is over, they can they let him go.

The Foundation wins the war and Palver survives, landing back in Terminus in the middle of the celebrations. However, he is not there to...
