Summary

Marion wandered through the Kingshead Woods in "Marion: The Martyr." She had cut her palms hoping the blood would lure the Collector so she could "tesser" them to the obscura, trapping him there even if it meant her own demise (356). Marion called out to him, and in return, she heard her mother's scream. She ran in "Marion: The Circle" and arrived at the cottage to find the Hand of Light holding Chief Harlow and her mother hostage. Using their parents' lives as leverage, Briggs blackmailed Marion and Zoey to surrender as Val ran toward them.
