Sandy McDougall wakes up late and realizes that something is wrong. Usually, Randy has woken her up by now. She goes to check on the baby and finds him dead. Although he is usually bruised up from her abuse, his bruises have all healed and he looks beautifully lifelike. Terrified, she refuses to believe he is dead.
