Summary

In chapter twenty-eight, Will and Layla arrive home and Layla is again amazed that the two weeks of their honeymoon passed so quickly. They spent time in Ireland and Layla says the country was beautiful beyond description. They also spent time in Bali and says she and Will were utterly relaxed. Will carries Layla across the threshold of their home once they return to Davidson and announces that he has to meet Luke the following day to see Holly. Layla has talked to Luke who says the remodeling of the pool house is complete. The following morning, Layla suggests they have Luke, Claire, Eliana, and Wes over for dinner that evening. Will agrees and Layla says they'll open the remaining gifts and envelopes then.
