Summary

Chapters 26 through 32

Chapter 26 finds a very hung-over Mia awakening to an angry Gabe, who orders her to dress quickly. When they leave her apartment, she is surprised to find that he becomes very gentle, carrying her into his apartment and making breakfast for her, but after she has eaten his anger explodes and she is baffled about why. He explains that he was worried because he did not know where she was or if she was hurt or dead, and she apologizes for being thoughtless. He says his concern was for her safety, not a need to control her, but he also tells her that after both of them have a nap he will punish her for worrying him.
