Chapter 15

John Ross walks Nest Freemark home again. Pick joins them to listen to John's tale, and is proud that he was right about the shift in power between the Word and the Void. John tells her they have until the Fourth of July to stop the demon, who has disguised himself and will do something that makes it impossible to bring the balance back. Nest talks to Pick about John, and Pick is very excited that John is there to help them. Pick realizes he forgot to tell John about the maentwrog. Nest wonders if her father is actually John Ross. Robert Heppler talks to Cass Minter and Brianna Brown about how Nest has been acting lately. Jared goes downstairs for an apple at his house, and George badgers him...
