Nest Freemark goes to Robert Heppler's house and asks him for some compost and softener salt to help seal up the tree. Robert is baffled that she is so frantic about getting these items. She tells him it is important. She calls Cass Minter from his house to see if she has any pitch to repair the tree. Cass and Brianna Brown both come over, then they all go to repair the tree. Nest tells them that the tree is sick after they insist on coming with her. Robert and her other friends are impressed by the size of the tree.
