Chapter 24 Summary

Reacher theorizes that Bob is in the Trenton brig, so they plan to go there to talk to him. Reacher calls ahead for the captain of the brig. When they arrive, Captain John Leighton, meets them. He says he checked on Reacher before he got there so he knows who he is. Harper explains the criminal investigation.

The colonel thinks about all of the ways that he can get the police officer to leave Scimeca's house so that he can kill her. He finally decides that he has to make a phone call.
