Summary

Jack believed the day that he and his family played baseball in the meadow, and then ate for the first time on the elk steaks the finest day of his life.

The next day trouble started again when Dee asked Jack how much wood he had cut. She had heard the chainsaw and assumed it was him but Jack had not been cutting any wood. When Dee said the sound was coming from the direction of the driveway Jack realized what was happening. He instructed his family to go to bed like normal.
