Molly tries to find a job, but the only positions available during the evening hours seemed to be those that involved "various forms of entertainment." After two weeks of this, Molly decides to lighten her course load so that she can work during the day.
She takes a job as a secretary at a publishing company. Before long, Molly graduates from the mundane tasks of the secretarial pool and is assigned to one of the firm's best editors, James Adler.
One of Molly's co-workers, a woman named Rhea Rhadin, has a crush on James. James does not return Rhea's affections, which she assumes is because he and Molly are having an affair. As a result, Rhea is determined to make Molly look bad by sabotaging her work. James goes to the firm's owner.....
