Part Five: All Fall Down, Chapters 90-98 Summary

Alex has a positive change in the case, but he still has to face things at home. After a heart-to-heart talk with Nana, Alex decides it is time to tell the children about his break-up with Christine. They are sad that she won't be near them anymore, but also overjoyed that Alex Junior would come to live with them. The happiness doesn't last long, though. While Alex is spending quality time with his family, the Mastermind is back on the hunt. He values the money, but not as much as killing. The Mastermind lets himself into James Walsh's home. Though he tries to be quiet, Walsh is alerted by the creaking floorboards. Walsh aims his gun at the intruder, cautioning him to stop, and finally pulls the trigger in self defense...
