Summary

In Chapter 13, Aslima goes to Lafala’s hotel room and finds Titin threatening to kill Lafala. As Titin attacks Lafala, Aslima picks up a chair and strikes Titin on the back of the head. Aslima then ushers the dazed Titin out of the hotel and tells him that if he kills Lafala, then he will never receive any of Lafala’s money. Aslima worries that Lafala will grow suspicious of her and will not love her. Titin asks Aslima to proceed with her proposed scam of Lafala and not double-cross Titin. Aslima tries to evade this proposition by arguing that Titin has likely irrevocably ruined any plan to scam Lafala, as Lafala will be on his guard. Soon, Lafala visits Aslima at her apartment.
